ReZ-TI Joins the Connectivity Standards Alliance

ReZ-TI, the product brand of Zhejiang Leize Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., is now a participant member of the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA), the organization that develops and governs the Matter standard itself.

Why this matters

Anyone can claim to build "Matter-native" hardware. Verifiable membership in the CSA is different: it's independently checkable on the Alliance's own member directory, not just a claim on a manufacturer's own website. Membership means direct visibility into how the Matter standard develops, and a formal channel to participate in that process rather than simply implementing the specification after the fact.

For partners and distributors evaluating manufacturers, this is exactly the kind of signal worth checking before committing to a sourcing relationship. Our own recommendation in a recent guide on vetting smart home hardware manufacturers was to confirm CSA membership independently rather than trusting a claim alone. This membership is checkable the same way.

What this means in practice

CSA participant membership doesn't change what's already true about ReZ-TI's product line. Our chip modules were already built on Espressif's ESP32-H2, ESP32-C3, and ESP32-C6 silicon, already Matter-certified, and already supporting both Matter over Wi-Fi and Matter over Thread depending on the product. What changes is having a direct seat in the standards process that governs all of it.

FAQ

What's the difference between a CSA participant member and a promoter member?
Promoter members are the founding, board-level organizations (Apple, Google, Amazon, and similar). Participant membership is open to companies actively building on and contributing to the standard, without board-level governance rights.

How can I verify this membership myself?
Check the Connectivity Standards Alliance's public participants directory directly, rather than taking any manufacturer's word for it, including ours.

Does this affect product certifications already in place?
No. Existing Matter certifications on our product line remain independently valid and are governed by CSA's own certification process, separate from membership tier
